Coffee Date and Friday's Letters

Yay! I love Fridays, I get paid, and sign my time card for next week! Even though I don't get weekends off its still a good feeling hitting Friday, and I have nothing stopping me from my blog today :) that makes today even better!

Okay, so even though I can't drink warm/hot coffee, and I work too much to make it somewhere for frappe, we can still pretend we're having coffee ;)

If we were having coffee today I would tell you how thankful I am for overtime! Yes it drains all my energy, but its good money, and I could never turn it down. If it weren't for my job and my long hours, I never would of been able to continue funding my education.

If we were having coffee today I would also tell you how happy I am that I was able to spend so much time with my family while they visited :) I don't have many pictures but once I get ahold of some I plan on writing a post just on their visit :)

If we were having coffee today I'd apology for missing last week's coffee date, and explain my absence was due to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding. I would also tell you, unless its my baby sister, I'm retiring from weddings. One awful  experience with a jerky groomsmen is enough for me. NEVER AGAIN, will I be a bridesmaid!

If we were having coffee today, I would also tell you how handsome Vincenso looked at the wedding. He looked so stunning, it was absolutely worth it. My boyfriend is a keeper, and I can't believe he went all out for a wedding where I couldn't even hang out with him through most of it! I'm such a lucky girl :]

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you that I've been going through a long process of emails, and meetings, and phone calls to try and transfer to Heidelberg University, and in the next week I really need to either push them to let me finish paperwork, or give in and stay at Tiffin University. It has been a very stressful  process, and as much as I hope everything works out and I can transfer, I'm really just looking forwarded to knowing whats going on, and where I will be going to school when I start classes in a month.

*************

Dear Readers-  I apologize for my lack of quick responses to comments. That is on my list of to-dos for this evening and tomorrow morning. Dear Vince- Thank you for always being here for me. It means the world to me that I can always count on you. I love you very much. Dear Heidelberg- please take me, and please make my life easier by just giving me an answer about my course of action. I'd appreciate it. Dear Government- I'm in college, I'm poor, why do you insist on taking so much of my hard earned cash for your taxes when I need every penny I get? Dear McDonald's- can you please just sponsor me with a lifestyle supply of frappes? I love them but I'm too poor at this point to spend money on them. You should let me advertise for you so I can get them for free :] Dear God- Please create a longer day, so that I may work crazy long hours, and still have time to get enough sleep. I think we could all benefit from a few more hours during the day to work with. Dear Crew Members- I don't enjoy yelling at you. I don't want to get you in trouble. I don't think its fun. Please stop breaking all the safety rules and stealing hours of pay that you didn't earn. I'd really prefer if we could have a day where I don't have to yell at you guys for breaking all the rules. I promise we can get along if you all behave. Dear Work- Thank you for the 74.6 hour work week. I will appreciate the exchange of money for my lack of sleep next Friday when I get a beautiful overtime paycheck. Dear Crochet- I miss you dearly.

I'M BACK!!!

I'm back!!! I know I've been gone for almost a month, but anyone who tries to say that graduating, and looking for a job is a quick and easy task, is crazy! That being said, I'm ready to get back into the swing of things! So on with coffee date Friday, and Friday's letters!

**********

Coffee Date: ...I'm craving a Bob Evans coffee ....really bad!

Well if we were having coffee today I would tell you that big things have happened as mentioned above, I'm now officially a TU alumni! Feels crazy and unreal, probably because I'm returning to somewhere next fall to finish my second degree in .... something.

Which leads me to my next big change, I might transfer schools....

I'm only a few credits shy of my Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and TU, but with all the biology courses I need for grad school, if I were to transfer to Heidelberg University, I would be just a few courses shy of a Bachelor of Science in Biology at HU, and the classes I need for the BS at TU overlap with what I need for the BS at HU. Sorry if that was confusing, if you didn't find it confusing then you're probably thinking, this is a no brainer, go to HU, get two more degrees instead of one. One hitch though, at TU I'll get an alumni discount that makes tuition 50% off, and Heidelberg is more expensive then TU even without the discount. So thats where I sit currently, hoping by some miracle since I'm currently unemployed, and quickly approaching my undergrad student loan limit, that I'll be able to find a job that no only gets me enough money for my rent and regular bills next year, but also helps me cover the big gap between what loans and scholarships I'm offered, and what HU actually costs. Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer for me, but HU is like, the HOGWARTS of science geek's dreams...or maybe just mine...either way, its perfection.

**********
Dear Vince - I've been having SOOOOOOO much fun with you. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Once I find a job, this summer will be perfect! Dear Coach -  Thank you for giving Vince such amazing opportunities that allowed him to have the opportunity to stay in Tiffin this summer, and thus, give me the best summer ever! Dear Bob Evans - Please create a delivery system so that I can have this amazing coffee with free refills at my home. k? thanks! Dear City of Tiffin - PLEASE SOMEONE HIRE ME! I'm dying here, my need to work obscene hours during the summer is ridiculous, and I can currently work "0" hours. I'm not okay with this. Dear Bank Account - I'm sorry your amount is so small. I'm trying :( Dear Summer - oh how i've missed you <3 Dear Boyfriend-  I can't even begin to express how excited I am that today, you are *officially*  done with student teaching! I'm so proud of you! ♥

A day late and a coffee short...

I know! I know! No WIP this week, and a late coffee date! #UGH
Just know I haven't neglected the blog on purpose. I fully intended to write this post yesterday, but after class, apartment hunting, and work, we unexpectedly were entertaining a bunch of wrestlers and a few recruits for next year. #Adayinthelifeofacoach'sgirlfriend . It seems Vince constantly has random coach obligations we didn't expect. It was a lot of fun nonetheless, but it would of been rude to disappear or sit on my laptop in front of them. So I choose to just wait till today to write and post.

In regards to coffee date this week, I'm not a mommy yet, and life has yet to tell me whether I ever will be. I know we'll always have Vince's students, and his team to spoil if we don't, so that issue is up in the air. That being said, I'm choosing to not weigh in on the mommy wars topic.

Instead, if we were having coffee this morning I'd tell you how much I'd hope it was at Bob Even's so I could have their amazing coffee. I've been craving it, but money is tight, so no more wasting money on yummy coffees for me for a while. I'd also tell you that we're looking at apartments for this summer to keep our options open since Vince has a really good job opportunity here this summer. Which coincidentally is why money is tight. lol. We hadn't anticipated needing money for a deposit and paying rent come May since we would usually head back home to our parents. I'm really excited about being able to spend the summer with him, so hopefully, we find a place we can afford here.

If we were having coffee this morning I'd tell you how perfect life has been. The weather is getting nice out, school is coming to an end, and even though there's still a ton of work to do, I'm finally able to start getting excited about graduating. The countdown on my phone currently says its 28 days, 4 hours, 51 minutes, and 36 seconds till graduation. I can't wait :]

**********
Dear Boyfriend - I'm terribly excited about this summer. Hopefully we find a new home soon ♥ Dear last night - Thank you for a surprising, yet lovely evening with Vince and his team :] Dear Marco and Kel - Thanks for cleaning the downstairs while I was at work, and for making the pasta so the boys didn't come visit a dirty/food-less house :] Dear TU- please submit my paperwork soon so I don't miss out on the Heidelberg classes !!!! Dear Graduation - I've got my eye on you....and my T-minus app , now how do I decide what to wear ?!?!?! Dear Cold- I really dislike that you make me feel like I'm dying in the morning, and then reek havoc on my ears and sinuses at night before bed. Please just go away! kthanks! Dear Saturday - Please be a very productive day! If I could get a couple papers down, That'd be amazing! Dear Gabby - OMG I ordered my bridesmaid dress this week! I can't wait :]!!

Coffee Date / Fridays Letter's

Yay! I can't believe it's Friday again! Okay, that was a lie, I can believe it's Friday again, I feel like I've been counting down the minutes since last Saturday as far as how long I'd have to wait to get a break again.UGH....

I wanna go to college the rest of my life, Sip Banker's Club Caramel Frappes and drink Miller Lite Coffee on Ice ..... I love hate college...ay! and I love drinking crocheting...ay! .....

lol sorry I suck. :]

Anywho, its time for Coffee Date and Friday's Letters :]

If we were having coffee today I would tell you, how lucky I am that my Genetics Class is a class of SEVEN. Yes, that's right, my college course of genetics has a total of six other kids in it, and if it weren't for our sense of "brotherhood" for surviving this course as the first class, aka the "test-run" kids, I would of failed my test today. Three chapters in any other subject wouldn't be that hard to study, but three chapters of genetics leaves me brain dead. I'm so lucky and happy a student that took it early stopped me and gave me some heads up on a few questions yesterday, or I would of failed. Instead, I feel pretty good, I probably got a B.

If we were having coffee today I would also tell you that skipping breakfast to study, but grabbing the left over caramel frappe from BK last night was a bad choice. UGH, my stomach feels like I just declared war on it. I need to get some food in there, like crackers, so it quits yelling at me.

If we were having coffee today I would also tell you that my experience here at TU has taken many obnoxious twists and turns, and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, that things work out in the end, because I'm sick of getting tossed around here.

I would also tell you, that today has been crazy, and I actually started this post a little over 12 hours ago! And am just now getting a chance to get back at it!

**********

Dear Vincenso - I love you, and the fact that you will go to BK and Wendy's at late hours of the night to get me coffee and dinner. You're perfect <3 data-blogger-escaped-b=""> Dear Today you've been crazy, and its past my bedtime.... Dear BigLots - thank you for surprising me with some gorgeous yarn. I can't wait to figure out what to make with you Dear Tiffin Walmart - thank you for having your crew necks on sale for $1, Toledo's they were $3....I still bought another one.... Dear Boyfriend - you're cute, and I'm sad I don't get to cuddle up with you the next few nights.

I love sneaking pictures of him while he's cuddling up to me in he's sleep....I hope that's not creepy...lol,

Coffee Date/ Friday's Letters :]

My celebratory frappe from earlier this week :]
this week's coffee date doesn't have a prompt so I'm going to use this chance to tell you all about my good news!

So, if we were having coffee this afternoon, since I have been in class all morning, I would tell you:

Although this didn't work out the way I had hoped, I will graduate this spring on time, and still be able to return next year (completely funded by loans....UGH). So even thought TU isn't accepting the fact that they wronged us by inticing us to enroll for a degree they don't have, I will at least give myself the opportunity to strive in the field I originally set out to ♥

I would also tell you that I have a huge research project that I have to do, that I'm actually already kind of behind on, but its on fingerprints and a correlation to ethnicity and I have finally found an agency that is willing to donate their facility for my research!

If we were having coffee I would also tell you that Vince and I are trying to eat healthier together, and our first week, we did---okay. Not, perfect, but definitely not as bad as we usually do. && I worked out twice this week! Which is two times more than I usually would, and I plan on going for a run this weekend. :]

**********

YAY! now time for Friday Letters!

Dear Week- Thank you for bringing good news to my hears when it comes to my future ♥  Dear Me- Keep your head up! Only 6 weeks left, keep pushing! That degree with honors is insight & if you just keep pushing, it'll be yours! Dear Vince- Good luck on your Praxis II test this weekend! I know you'll do great! Dear Psy. 101 Class-Thank you for teaching me today that my obsession with lists, my past experience with cosmetology*, and my visual learning, is normal for those with ADD. Dear Dirty Laundry Laying On My Bedroom Floor All Week- If Vince doesn't pick you up tonight, so help me, I will burn you.

Sincerely,
chelsea ♥

*Yes, according to my psy. prof. individuals with ADD tend to pursue cosmetology, due to their ability to visualize things easier than other academic subjects, they pursue visual careers such as...cosmetology...who knew?

Coffee Date Link up and Friday's Letters!

It's Friday again! Yay! That means Coffee Date!

This is my yummy Caramel Mocha from a Coffee Shop at the Factory in Franklin TN last weekend :]

This week's prompt is about finding time to write and being organized...since I'm just starting to become more active on the blog, I don't really have many tips on this topic yet.

When It comes to staying organized with school, and tasks for the store, my go-to is post it notes, to-do lists, and a good planner.

I can never have enough lists, whether its of long-term assignments for my school, lists of items to be photographed the next time I get with my baby sister (aka my store photographer), lists of random emails or class notes I have to print, I have lists literally EVERYWHERE. They fill up the spare space in my planner, the notes and to-do list apps on my phone, and then the lists spill over onto post it notes that get stuck to the pages of my planner. I can't help it, if it's not written down, or put in my phone, I'm going to forget it and that's when I forget assignments, or suddenly find myself with a million assignments to do in one night.

**********

I also wanted to join Ashley this week at The Sweet Season Blog for Friday's Letters. I thought it would be fun to try it out this week! So here are my first Friday's Letters :]

Dear Friday- Thank you for coming here so fast! I'm ready to spend some time with Vince again! Dear Vincenso- Thank you so much for coming to visit this week while I was "sick" it meant the world to me :] Dear Wisdom Teeth- I can't believe how lucky I am to have had such and "easy" experience with taking you out. Thank you for not making me sick or swelling me up like a balloon! Dear Momma- thanks for being my nurse and making sure I had plenty of soft food to eat! Dear Best Buy- thank you for giving me such an amazing deal on my lenovo yoga because I absolutely love it and couldn't have afforded this ultrabook without the amazing discount that they let dad bargain too & then helped bring down the insurance some too!

Coffee Date Link Up- "Currently"

Wow! Can you believe its Friday again already?! Ever since I started linking up with Alissa from Rags to Stitches  I feel like I've started to look forward to Friday for more than just the stress relief from school, but for the chance to catch up on another coffee date!

This week her prompt is still the 5 beauty products, but since I did that last week, I'm going to jump right onto the prompt of "Currently"

Hope you enjoy our coffee date ❤

On School:

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you, how currently, and continuously, disappointed I am in my University. I know I've probably stated how much they disappoint me a thousand times not just on the blog, but to anyone who will listen right now, but I need to vent my frustrations this way to keep me from going crazy and facing the terrifying fact that I could be forced to graduate with a degree that's literally worthless. So even though I'd hate to start our coffee date on a bad note, I'd need to get this done and out of the way to enjoy the rest of our date! I just can't believe a school could really consider turning their backs on students that they promised one degree, and force them out into this economy with a degree that isn't what they were promised, and is worthless. Any school that would put students (who would graduate with honors) in a position where they need to fail a class (in order to put them ineligible to graduate) so they can finish a degree they were promised, is disgusting. Nevertheless though, this doesn't seem to phase them, as long as their unjustly robbing us of money we don't even have yet, they're happy....UGH.

On Family:

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you how terribly excited I am to spend a weekend in TN with my family! I might not be able to run off to some sunny beach during spring break, but I get to run off to TN in a too-crammed-pack-full car with my parents, Alicia, and Jenna for a weekend of nothing but awkward encounters and girly day shopping! I couldn't be happier! Besides, who needs spring break in Florida when it'll be warm here in Ohio soon, and I'll get to spend the little free time I have on the beach by my summer home! Hahaha! aka my parents home....I don't have a summer home...I wish. lol.

On the  Store:

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you how currently I am very excited to make the leap soon from fall/winter items, to spring beach time items! The spring cleaning sale is still going on till March 16, at Noon. After that I start clearing out the unsold winter items, and I'll start listing the new spring items! When I set the spring line launch date, I wasn't thinking about the fact that I would have a 1.5 of my time devoted to midterms, a weekend devoted to TN, and a week devoted to recovering from surgery(..more on that later...) not too mention the possibility that I could get sick, which I did, and lose even more time to create new items....oops! So  now that month I had to create got dwindled down to....maybe a week, but really less. So instead of having all kinds of items like I planned, March 16th is going to be a soft launch of spring items, since I promised new spring items to be listed then. Later when I have time to create I'll have more items and will do a big launch and have a sale! I'm still currently kind of disappointed that I don't get to launch all my new ideas on the 16, but it is what it is.

On Health :

If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you how I am currently TERRIFIED of next Tuesday when I get my wisdom teeth out. I can't begin to tell you about all the nightmarish things I have thought and dreamed about this day as it approached! I'm absolutely terrified of it. I can't stand dentist appointments just for clean ups, and now I'm about to let them put me to sleep (they suggest local numbing...ha! right! cause I wouldn't freak out watching/feeling this...) and wake up with my gums dug apart, drugged, and unable to eat. All I can say is that I hope they give us enough pain killers to get through the healing process because I'm a baby, especially when it comes to mouth, and I'd much prefer to be in a drug induced high then feel those awful holes in my mouth. I'm just terrified. Even the thought of having to suck on gauze in the back of my mouth makes me feel like gagging. I'm just not looking forward to any aspect of this experience. I'm starting to wonder.....do they really hurt THAT bad?! Do I REALLY need to cut them out?!? ....I'm starting to think I should skip Tuesday's appointment......

On Love :

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you, that despite having our issues like any other couple, I wouldn't dream of having anyone else to spend my life with. Vincenso has his moments that remind me of my dad and I think, what in the world am I getting myself into..."dirty socks EVERYWHERE, why can't he put away his clothes?!?...does anything make it to the hamper?!?!?!" but we love each other, and currently, I am happy, but I'm sad I'm spending a little over a week away from him while he's stuck in Tiffin student teaching.  I don't know how I'm going to make it through this summer barely seeing him again. Each summer feels harder than the last. I still have the slightest sliver of hope though that some how we'll both end up staying in Tiffin for school. Very unlikely, but he mentioned it the other day, and it sounded like heaven to me. ❤

On Fashion:

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you, that I'm currently loving anything girly. I love lace, and coral, and frills, and cream. Oh do I love the color cream lately! I want skinnies in every color under the rainbow, I could never have enough dresses or skirts. Even though my shoe closet is currently a rigged two different shoe shelf combination to give me 6 shelves for cramming, and they're full, I don't have enough shoes! Packing for Franklin this weekend showed me, wow, I have no shoes to go with these cute outfits...no wonder I never wear them....

If we were having coffee this morning I would also tell you how disappointed I am that I forgot my beautiful nail polishes in Tiffin and my nails are naked! There's something about a road trip that makes me feel like I need to redo my toenail polish and deck out the fingernails I usually leave naked theses days. Le sigh....this road trip my nails will be very plain. I feel bad for them.

On my New Lenovo 13" Ideapad :

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that I am CURRENTLY experiencing a love affair with my new computer! It's perfect! perfect size, perfect function for a girl like me, and so much fun! I love playing with it whether I'm using it in laptop mode or tablet mode, I love it. I still have a lot to learn about it, and about how to use it, but either way, I love it. I only have two disappointments. One, that I'm terrified to take it anywhere like class or something in fear that someone will spill on it or trip and fall on my desk and smash it and my laptop will be no more! Two, that I got addicted to this little app game on it before I realized I have to spend $3 for the full version, and I'm just way too cheap to do that.

On Life :

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that I'm currently trying to be a more positive person. This school has turned me into a negative nancy, and I didn't even realize how much it affected my outlook on everything till last week. Poor Vince has been keeping his lips shut while he watched me slowly start to hate everything about life due to the ugly after college reality that TU have given me to look forward to due to the situation about our FS degree. I didn't realize that the constant disappointment in school and its ability to ruin my everyday, really has an affect on him as well, and the fact that he's kept his mouth shut for so long, and has finally addressed it, I can't help but feel disappointed in myself. Last weekend when I came home, having that conversation still present in my thoughts, I read a letter from my teacher that I received my senior year, as well as a few others that I had hanging on a wall, and stashed on a shelf. It was disappointing to see how positive and determined they viewed me just four years ago, and how negative and pessimistic I have become. So I'm determined to be ME again. Not the old me, but the current ME. I'm not this negative person that hates life. I'm happy, and positive, and I love colors, and good movies, and I would laugh all day if it didn't make me feel like my abs of steel were going to rip out. No matter what happens with my future regarding this college, I WILL make it to Wayne state for the Pathologist Assistant degree, and I WILL be happy and find a job that I LOVE, and I WILL have Vincenso, the sweetest man I've ever met, to come home to and tell him all about it, and THAT makes me feel very positive and excited about my future :]

It's only been a week since I've decided to take my thoughts and feelings into my own hands, and I feel great. Chelsea fits me much better than negative nancy ever did ❤

coffee date link up

Its Friday again so I'm excited to link up with Alissa from Rags to Stitches for her coffee date again this week.

I'm actually having milk and these fried apple pie cuties that my mommy made me! Some of my medicine doesn't go well with caffeine so since I took it this morning, I have to skip on coffee today. But these yummies go perfectly with milk! So I'm not complaining!

This week her prompt is five must-have beauty products. Well, I thought of 7, and really it should of been 8 really because I forgot to throw in a hairthing to pull your hair up with. I went on more of a quick morning 5-10 minutes to get ready theme. Here's the snap shot of my items:

I'll explain left to right, rather than importance just so it goes with the picture. lol

First a side note- all these products, or similar ones, can be bought at Walmart, and on a poor college girl budget ;]

1. HAIRSPRAY - now this isn't actually the brain I buy, but I'm visiting my parents and I didn't bring mine with me. I usually buy Rave? I think that's what its called. Its the big silver can one with the blue top at walmart and several other drug stores. Being a licensed cosmetologist, I should have a favorite salon brand hairspray...but I don't. I really buy the one from Walmart out of convience because I go there for so many other things, and because I'm a poor college girl. I'd rather save a few bucks on hairspray, so I can spend a little more on things I find more important. It really doesn't matter what brand, or what hold, just so its something YOU like to use.

2. RAT TAIL COMB & BOBBY PINS - this comb was actually bought at sallys. They come in a pack of 10 or 12, I forget because I bought mine so long ago, but you can also buy a rat tail fine toothed comb at just about any drug store. What is important about this item in my opinion, is teasing your hair. If you're in a hurry and don't have time to shower, you can hide your dirty mess with a quick tease of your bang area, pin it up with your handy dandy bobby pins, and throw the rest in a messy top bun, side bun, low bun, low braid, really anything you can style super quick and set with your hairspray of choice.

3. CREST 3D WHITE TOOTHPASTE -  I know, when you think of beauty must-haves, you aren't really thinking about your teeth...but you should be! A person's smile can make such a huge difference in my opinion! We all stain our teeth, drinking soda, coffee, all kinds of stuff thats ucky and makes our teeth look ucky over long term consumption. I hate to say it, but the commercials are right, if you aren't WHITENING your teeth, you're YELLOWING. This toothpaste really does make a difference with everyday use. I started using it last summer, and when I decided to skimp on buying tooth paste and buy something cheaper....my teeth were not the pearly whites I had come to love. So I'm back now, and I'm a devoted user. Skimping on my hairspray a little lets me spend a little more for my toothpaste :]

4. MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND & REVLON PHOTOREADY CONCEALER STICK -
I have trouble finding a concealer I like, especially during the winter, my face peels and its gross no matter how many times I apply moisturizer and lotion. I  also tend to have trouble finding a shade that matches my skin tone well too. Recently though, I tried maybelline's instant age rewind and so far its the best drug store liquid foundation I've used. I'm only 22, so I don't necessarily need an anti-aging foundation, but this was one fo the few foundations I could find at walmart that included a primer and I love it. Sometimes I still need to use my revlon concealer stick to hide the circles under my eyes or other dark spots that peek through the maybelline. Both products are quick and easy to use and I don't feel like I need to set it with powder everyday, so when I'm rushing I don't! & my make-up still looks fine :] !

5. MASCARA - I use Loreal Voluminous in black and I use regualar during the winter, and waterproof during the summer. In my opinion, I love this mascara, but really, everyone has their own favorites, and in my opinion I just think its important that you use any mascara rather than skipping it. Even when I'm rushed to get ready, I always use mascara even if I'm skipping eyeshadow and liner. It instantly takes you from that "i just woke up and my face is smashed--like my pillow print on my face?" look to "hello bright-eyes! how are you this morning?"

So those are my 5 beauty must haves. I'm in a rush, so maybe tomorrow I'm edit this post to include how my week went and what i'm looking forwarded to this weekend. In the meantime, I hope you're enjoying your coffee or milk or whatever you decided to have this Friday!

This week I wanted to try something new! Alissa from Rags to stitches does this fun weekly coffee date on Fridays. Since I've been trying to update more actively, I thought this would be a good way to introduce a new fun aspect to the blog! I don't know if I will start making this a weekly post, but I think I'll try it out for a few weeks and see how it fits :] What I like the most about it, is getting a chance to just spill my guts with you guys about stuff that doesn't necessarily revolve around the brand and the store, but my everyday life ❤

This week Alissa's prompt to the coffee date is : "If we were having coffee, what would you tell me?"

So, if we were having coffee this week, I would tell you all, how happy I am to get back into working on the blog. I really do try to keep updated and on task and keep you all posted on everything involved with chelseaMADE, but as lame of an excuse it is, life just tends to get in the way. Its hard on a college schedule where my work load tends to change daily, as well as weekly, and trying to support myself, and work, and get the absolutely best grades I possibly can, to put aside a definite portion of the day to contribute to working on the blog. Lots of times when I do find free time, I'm more focused on trying to use it to create more products since my free time seems to dwindle more everyday. Summers are no different either when you count on spending 56 hours at a minimum at the shooting range working in the sun every week. I don't know how you ladies that are mommies do it and stay on task and keep your blogs going so smoothly! Props to you all! I'm just happy this last week or so I feel like I've been able to work on the blog a lot especially when it comes to learning more about this html stuff!

If we were having coffee this week, I would also say, I have not been anxious about this weekend coming, as it brings a hard week of studying for a bunch of midterms (more tests then the number of classes I'm taking....tell me how that works?!?!) and Vincenso being gone most of the weekend. Of course its nice every once in a while to take time dedicate it to working on stuff for the blog and store and not be tempted to quit and just lounge around with him since we don't have many down days, but nonetheless, I'd still rather have him here with me then at the regional wrestling tournament at Ashland.

If we were having coffee this week, I would probably rant to you about my frustration with my university. Its so discouraging to have worked so hard, and have our class denied the Bachelors of Science we helped bring to our school, and that we've been promised off and on from the beginning. I'm a good student. I work very hard, and I want to learn everything I can to better myself. I want the chance to fulfill  my dreams and go to Wayne State and graduate with a degree in Anatomical Pathology Assistant, and right now the school I've gone $40,000 in debt for is denying myself and my classmates the degree we need to get to the places we want to go. When you're told you'll have certain opportunities through a degree, that you later find out are unobtainable through a Bachelors of Criminal Justice in Forensic Science, its disheartening when you do everything you can and are denied the degree you helped fight to bring over to your university. I just want to have the opportunities I was told I'd have when getting this degree through Tiffin University. Hopefully soon the 2013 class of Forensic Science students and Tiffin University will come to an agreement and we'll be able to receive the Bachelors of Sciences in Forensic Science

Last, but not least, if we were having coffee this week, I'd tell you how nice it was to have some one to spill to, and to catch up. :]
